We are situated on and we are the terminus of the famous Westsong Walkway which is a waterfront promenade between Westbay and downtown Victoria. The walk to downtown Victoria is about 40 minutes.

The walk to the Town of Esquimalt shopping centre is only 10 minutes.

  • We are the Terminus for a fleet of 10 Harbour Ferries which ferry you to various points in Victoria Harbour. Downtown is about 15 minutes away by ferry.
  • By car, downtown is about 7 ½ minutes away.
  • Regular, frequent bus transportation is available one-half block from the Marina.
  • The Marina is convenient to easy bicycle routes to all points, including the Galloping Goose Trail.
  • Use your own commuter boat - about 12 minutes to downtown.

Our New Marine Village has:

  • Floathome moorage for up to 40 Floathomes in their own village.
  • 15,000 square foot commercial building housing restaurant, pub, café, offices, marina facilities, tourist facilities, fishing charters, retail stores and yacht club is planned.
  • Boat moorage (including legal liveaboard boat moorage) for approximately 80 boats.

We provide a “turnkey” Floathome package including:

  • Architectural and design services to design a custom Floathome to your tastes and specifications.
  • Construction of Floathomes to high standard, properly engineered and certified with record drawings.
  • Course of construction and long-term financing of Floathome and Marine Lot Sub-Lease through bank lenders, including CMHC insurance, if necessary.
  • Floathome owners insurance package.
  • We can provide professional property rental and management services. Contact us for details.

Features of Floathome Village:

  • Floathome Village area has 26 Floathome Marine Lots available.
  • Private, remote controlled, gated entrance at the access ramps ensures privacy.
  • State of the art concrete floats are minimum 8' wide in most places.
  • Minimum 100 amp. domestic power to each Marine Lot, each individually metered. Full natural gas service is provided so your hydro requirements are much reduced.
  • Full Shaw Internet ready cabling for television and Internet access.
  • Telephone cabling allowing multiple phones lines to each Marine Lot.
  • Fire control systems right on the docks.
  • Sewer connections for each Marine Lot.
  • Dock lighting for safety and security.
  • Each Floathome is accessible by boat so Floathome owners can moor a commuter boat or recreation boats up to 18' long adjacent to their Floathome.
  • Parking adjacent to the Floathome Village is included.
  • Common Area Maintenance is carried out by our Marina Staff - you only maintain your Floathome and we will even do that for you, for a fee.

Floathome Design Elements:

  • Carefully considered engineering and aesthetic design standards have been created to ensure your safety, and a high quality marine environment.
  • Your Floathome may be 3 storeys in height but the third storey is restricted to 300 square feet of area.
  • Your Floathome may be up to 30' in height.
  • The Maximum size of a Marine Lot is 1,000 square feet so the largest floathome can be as much as 2,300 square feet.
  • "Marine Lots" range in size from 625 to 1,000 square feet.

Area facilities:

  • Westbay is part of the Municipality of Esquimalt which is a suburb of Victoria. It is a beautiful waterfront municipality with excellent public services, shopping, public recreation facilities, library and more.
  • The Westbay area is a mixture of commercial, residential and tourist uses and is quiet, yet vibrant.
  • Within walking distance from the Marina is Municipal Hall, Library, Recreation Centres with ice rink, curling, pool, seniors programs, fitness centre, and more.
  • Banks, shopping mall and other commercial facilities are also within easy walking distance.
